Mr Patrick Magann FAPI Certified Practising Valuer (Registered NSW Valuer No. 2180), has over thirty (38) years experience in property valuations. He has worked in both the public and private sectors of the Real Estate Industry in NSW, the ACT and Queensland.
He has unlimited registration and his career spans approximately thirteen (13) years with the Commonwealth Government, four (4) years with the Queensland Valuer General and the past 21 years in private practice.
In 1989 Mr. Magann established Patrick Magann and Associates Pty Ltd in Coffs Harbour. In July 2000 Mr Terry O’Rourke joined the practice and in July 2002 became a partner. At this time, the name of the practice was changed to Magann O’Rourke & Associates Pty Ltd, and is now trading as Magann O’Rourke Property Consultants.
Mr Terry O’Rourke AAPI graduated in 1990 from University of New England, Armidale with a Bachelor of Economics Degree; in 1994 from Gold Coast Institute of TAFE with Builders Registration Certificate (Builders Licence Number 76142C - current); and in 2002 also graduated from UWS Hawkesbury with Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Property Economics). Before joining Patrick Magann and Associates Pty Ltd, Terry was self-employed within the property-construction industry from 1991 to 2000. He has unlimited valuation registration, and is a licensed builder.
Valuations undertaken by Magann O’Rourke Property Consultants include Caravan & Holiday Parks, Hotels & Motels, Residential, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Rural, and Residential & Commercial Development Feasibility Studies.
The practice embraces the north coast region of NSW from Taree to Tweed Heads and west as far as the New England district, however more specialised tasks are covered throughout NSW and southern Queensland. Both Mr Magann and Mr O’Rourke specialise in project development feasibilities and valuations, going concern hotels, motels and caravan park valuations. The residential side of the practice is generally confined to the area south to Kempsey and north to Maclean/Yamba and includes Grafton and the Clarence Valley Shires.
Valuations are conducted for the purpose of Mortgage Security, Portfolios, Company Balance Sheets, Advice on Purchase of Sale, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Duty, GST, All Types of Litigation, Formation and Dissolution of Partnerships, Easements, Negotiation with Government Bodies, and Liquidation.
