Mountain Designs GeoQuest 48hr is Australia's premier adventure race. It involves 48hrs of non-stop endurance racing in the major disciplines of trekking, mountain biking and kayaking. Mixed, Male or Female teams of four must navigate their way through an arduous 200+km course that is only revealed to them the evening before the race. The Mountain Designs GeoQuest is held annually on the Queens Birthday long weekend in June.

Carols by candlelight will take place 20th December at Sawtell Golf Club starting at 6 pm on the fairway.

There will be a jumping castle and games for the children as well as a sausage sizzle, and the whole community is invited to relax and have a picnic as from 6pm with the carols ( including the arrival of Santa) to commence at about 7.30.p.m.

88th YEAR ANNUAL FUN DAY FOR 2008

The ‘Sawtell Super Fun Day’ has events designed for the enjoyment of all. There is, amongst other things a 5.5km fun run, street procession, kids foot races, ladies and men’s sprints, woodchop events, carnival rides, Market Stalls food and drink stalls – fun for the whole family!

This year we have included a special two hour children’s fun time which will include face painting, music and kids games.
